Hi, I was referred here by my therapist. I'm a single dad and father of a 7-year old girl. I live in Philadelphia, as does my daughter, who lives with her mother. Been divorced since 2017. Went over 1.5 years without seeing her until this summer. The main problem I have is needing competent legal help. The original custody agreement was filed in Chicago when we got divorced and my previous attorney hasn't been able to transfer the case to Philadelphia. Ok so I have 3 children of which I have exactly 50/50 custody of, recently I have had them in March for 20 days to 11 days. I pay a lot in child support when their mom is a nurse and makes more then me. The PA Child support calculator is outdated and based on primary and non primary custody. I have a lot of people that I know that do not have to pay since it is 50/50 but I always get stuck. Is there something I can do to fix this?

My son is 3 years old and he hasnt seen her son in two weeks. The ex wifes became bitter and didn't let him see the kids, accept his gifts or spend time with him and met their new sibling .She put him on child support. He loss his job, his car everything he has because of child support, he didn't make no excuses he went to travel for jobs that may more to give money for their children.

My son starts kindergarten on Thursday and we are in disagreement as to which school he will go to. She won't even consider my opinion and wants him to attend a school near her, Ressurection Regional Catholic School. I have him 4-5 days every week (switches each week) and it's not fair for me to have drive each way for the school she wants and it's not really that good of a school. Especially when Merion Elementary (#4 in the state) is half a block away from me in Narberth.
