what can i do about signed money orders for child care that were given to a spouse ?that were indicated for child care and signed by the other parent .then that parent told the court that she did not recieve any thing from me before and order of child support was issued.how do i or should i make copies of the payments that are signed to mail them to child support to get a reduction on the rears of my case.would that be wise?

Yes, that would be wise.  First try talking with the mother about agreeing.  If she does then you both can get the adjustment.  If she doesn't then file for a modification with all your records attached.

Money orders are not an exact great source of a documented paper trail; certified cashier checks are. I wouldn't trust my ex with a check of mine, but this may be the different case with your situation. The routing number and account number is on the check so try looking into cashier checks. At some banks, you can get them whether you have an account or not. Also, make digital photocopies of the entire check and include in the memo what the payments for, the payment #, and how the payment was sent or transacted.
